Job Description

Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client for an Operations/Inside Sales Administrator. This role is responsible for supporting daily sales operations, maintaining strong customer and vendor relationships, coordinating order logistics, and ensuring accurate communication throughout the order process. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and able to thrive in a collaborative small-office environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and vendors
  • Handle incoming phone calls and emails to provide customer support and assistance
  • Support the Sales Team by preparing quotes, entering orders, and coordinating logistics
  • Organize, maintain, and update sales documentation and records
  • Schedule shipments and provide customers with order status updates
  • Follow up on quotes and completed orders to gather customer feedback
  • Review and communicate information from internal reports as needed
  • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
  • Experience with database management and general computer applications
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively in a small office setting
  • Reliable, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow within the company
Preferred Attributes
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, administration, or logistics is a plus
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
