Materials Specialist

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Procurement Coordinator to support material coordination for engineering and construction projects. This role focuses on managing procurement‑related administrative tasks, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Coordinate material procurement to support construction and project activities
• Gather material cost and delivery information during project planning
• Prepare material and equipment requisitions; review vendor quotations
• Act as liaison between engineering, procurement, project management, and construction teams
• Monitor procurement progress and assist in expediting materials to meet project timelines
• Track inspection activities and resolve material delivery issues
• Prepare bid packages using engineering drawings and specifications
• Maintain and administer procurement documents (requisitions, purchase orders, receiving reports, etc.)
• Manage vendor drawings and technical documentation to ensure timely approvals and compliance
• Support coordination with Accounts Payable for invoice processing and payment tracking

Experience with invoice processing and validation

• Ability to match invoices with Purchase Orders (POs) / Vendor Orders (VOs)
• Experience working with Accounts Payable (AP) for payment processing
• Strong vendor coordination and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to track orders, invoices, and payments
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, administrative procurement environment

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field

• Full-time, onsite (Monday–Friday)
