Overview of the Position:
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Case Administrator. The District Court is comprised of 11 judicial officers, their staff, and a Clerk’s Office staff of 31 employees. Case Administrators are members of the Clerk’s Office and report directly to the Clerk of Court or designee. The Case Administrator is an integral part of the Clerk’s Office, working to ensure the efficient administration of justice and serving as a key liaison between attorneys, pro‑se litigants, government agencies, and the public.
This position currently reports directly to the Chief Deputy Clerk and offers the opportunity for a motivated individual to gain broad experience and exposure that can lead to greater responsibilities within the Federal Judiciary.
Responsibilities:
The Case Administrator performs various administrative functions, including making summary entries of documents in the court’s Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system and interacting with attorneys, pro‑se litigants, government agencies, and the public.
