Position: Unit Clerk / Radiology

Overview

Join our team as a day shift, full-time, Radiology Unit Clerk in Tulsa, OK.

Responsibilities
  • The Unit Clerk supports the Radiology department by coordinating administrative and patient service activities that promote efficient departmental operations, timely communication, and a positive patient experience.
  • This position serves as a central point of contact for patients, providers, and staff while ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility of clinical and scheduling information.
  • The role maintains operational workflow through effective organization, documentation management, and customer service.
  • The Unit Clerk contributes to quality outcomes, regulatory compliance, and overall departmental effectiveness through dependable administrative support.
Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential.
  • Ability to comply with organizational training and onboarding requirements.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures and confidentiality practices.
  • Skill in verbal and written communication.
  • Skill in organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use computer systems, electronic health records, and standard office software.

Preferred

Job Requirements:

  • 1+ years of administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare support experience.
  • Experience using Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) applications.
  • Knowledge of radiology scheduling and registration workflows.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations related to patient information management.
  • Skill in resolving customer service concerns professionally.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
