Enrollment Services - Medicare Enrollment Processor

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for maintaining the flow of work based on receipt of enrollments, forms, emails from internal and external sources.

• Receive, sort, and batch daily mail and emails.
• Create and update customer eligibility in databases.
• Review enrollment documentation to determine receipt date, enrollment source, existing member  and late receipt rationale to determine enrollment processing requirements such as logging entries, outbound enrollment verification needs, and proper batching/form classification.
• Processes AOR, PHI, POAs, Guardianship and Alternate Contact requests according to state and federal regulations.
• Monitor shared mailbox; respond to customer requests as it pertains to enrollment information.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with personnel at various levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
• Successful completion of Health Care Sanctions background check.

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• A minimum of two years experience in an administrative function for a health care institution, insurance company or medical group preferred.
