The Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and company policies. This position requires technical skill, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work the first time. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who takes pride in their craft, communicates well with the team, and values a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities Perform vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance work on a variety of makes and models.
Accurately document all work performed in repair orders per manufacturer and dealership standards.
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors and management regarding repair needs, time estimates, and recommendations.
Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to the advisor team.
Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training, bulletins, and repair procedures.
Ensure repairs are completed on time and meet quality standards before vehicle delivery.
Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned work area in clean and safe condition.
Assist other technicians and team members as needed to promote teamwork and efficiency.
Follow all safety, environmental, and dealership policies and procedures.

Qualifications2+ years of experience as an automotive technician or mechanic required; dealership experience preferred.
OEM certifications (Ford, Lincoln, Volvo, or Mitsubishi) or ASE certifications preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and repair tools effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
Must provide personal tools appropriate for skill level.
