Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary advisor for all internal used vehicle repair and reconditioning work orders.
- Coordinate with technicians and shop management to prioritize and schedule internal vehicles efficiently.
- Conduct thorough vehicle walkarounds and document all required repairs, maintenance, and cosmetic needs.
- Track work order status and communicate progress updates to the used car and sales teams.
- Review technician recommendations and obtain approvals for repair costs within established guidelines.
- Ensure reconditioning meets Knight Automotive Group's quality and safety standards before vehicles go to the lot.
- Partner with vendors and parts teams to source materials and manage turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate records of costs, labor, and completed work for each vehicle.
- Identify opportunities to improve reconditioning workflows and reduce time-to-lot.

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
- Prior experience in automotive service advising, service writing, or dealership operations preferred.
- Professional, courteous, and team-focused demeanor.
- Strong ability to follow processes, manage multiple work orders, and prioritize effectively.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in the quality and presentation of every vehicle.
- Comfortable operating a wide range of vehicle types (cars, trucks, vans, etc.) as needed on the lot.
