Mid-Continent Group is seeking a Business Analyst who will serve in a technical role on our Information Technology team.##
** Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
*** Maintain and update rating tables, databases, and formulas within the underwriting and policy administration systems.
* Create and update commercial policy forms, including ISO and company proprietary forms.
* Research and resolve rating and data issues for Commercial Underwriting.
* Support system projects by helping define business requirements/user stories and assisting with design and implementation.
* Develop test plans, coordinate and perform UAT, and document progress, table changes, and results for compliance.
* Communicate project status with business units, IT, and leadership.
* Serve as a liaison between business units and IT.
* Lead small meetings, prepare agendas, and foster effective collaboration.
* Build strong working relationships across IT, Underwriting, and business partners.
* Perform other related duties.##
** Job Requirements
*** Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
* Insurance experience preferred.
* Basic experience working with application data, tables, and testing.
* Familiarity with CGI Ratabase is helpful but not required.
* Strong multitasking, organization, and time‑management skills; able to handle shifting priorities and interruptions.
* Professional communication skills; comfortable interacting at all organizational levels.
* Demonstrates emotional intelligence, curiosity, and self‑driven development.
