Job Description
- Assesses operations processes, using that data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Works with all groups on consuming slow-moving or obsolete inventory items.
- Develops and maintains a supply chain mapping system with written procedures for each group.
- Creates performance reports for management to review.
- Investigates pain points within the process and develops solutions to resolve conflicts and inefficiencies.
- Documents and maintains tracking logs and inventory databases of incoming materials.
- Builds and creates cost management spreadsheets and presentations.
- Coordinates with development and engineering teams to provide cost estimates and reports.
- Analyzes business and engineering processes to make recommendations for changes.
- Performs special research or technical studies critical to logistics support functions.
- Travels, when necessary, to AAON locations for improvement processes.
Oversee and coordinate program activities designed to ensure efficient running of supply chain and logistics operations. Design, develop, and implement production chain optimization strategies.
Education and Experience RequirementsDegree(s):
Associate degree or equivalent experience in the HVAC industry or a similar industry.
License(s):

- Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
- Lift up to 50lbs.
- Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
- Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
