The Business Analyst, Tokenized Deposits serves as a dedicated resource supporting the Bank’s digital asset and tokenized deposit initiatives. This role acts as a key liaison between product, technology, operations, risk, and compliance teams to support the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of tokenized deposit products and related infrastructure. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes, defining requirements, and supporting initiatives that enable secure, compliant, and scalable tokenized deposit solutions.
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in advancing the Bank’s asset strategy by ensuring alignment between business objectives, regulatory expectations, and technical execution.
- Analyze and document workflows related to tokenized deposits, including issuance, transfer, redemption, custody, and reconciliation processes.
- Support the development and execution of the Bank’s tokenized deposit asset initiative by identifying process gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvements.
- Partner with digital assets, treasury, operations, and compliance teams to align business processes with blockchain-enabled solutions.
- Assist in defining product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications for tokenized deposit platforms.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business needs into system and technical requirements.
- Support system implementations, integrations, and enhancements related to tokenized deposits and digital asset infrastructure.
- Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT), system validation, and quality assurance for digital asset initiatives.
- Develop and maintain reporting and dashboards related to:
- Tokenized deposit volumes and activity
- Liquidity and settlement tracking
- Operational performance and transaction metrics
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and traceability across digital asset systems and reporting tools.
- Assist with developing policies, procedures, and controls to support tokenized deposit operations and compliance requirements.
- Work closely with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory frameworks for digital assets.
- Support internal audit, regulatory inquiries, and documentation related to the tokenized deposit initiative.
- Support documentation and reporting required for credit administration, internal audit, and regulatory examinations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects supporting digital asset strategy, innovation, and operational scalability.
- Assist leadership in evaluating business impacts, risks, and opportunities associated with tokenized deposit products.
- Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
- 3–6+ years of experience in business analysis, banking operations, financial services, or technology-related roles.
- Familiarity with digital assets, blockchain technology, or tokenization concepts preferred (e.g., stable coins, tokenized deposits, distributed ledger technology).
- Experience working on cross‑functional initiatives involving product, technology, operations, and/or risk teams.
- Exposure to system implementations, integrations, or digital transformation initiatives within a financial institution is preferred.
- Understanding of banking operations, payments, treasury functions, or deposit products is a plus.
