Supply Chain Specialist

What is the position?

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for processing purchasing transactions and maintaining inventories of materials, equipment, supplies, and products.

• Execute purchase orders and manage the end-to-end buying process (RFQs, bids, supplier selection, order placement)
• Monitor open orders and expedite materials to meet project schedules
• Serve as the main contact for suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and order status
• Resolve delivery delays, quality issues, and invoice discrepancies
• Maintain accurate procurement records in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
• Collaborate with engineering, logistics, operations, and finance teams to align procurement with project needs
• Support cost control, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives

• 1-2 years experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of purchase order management and supplier negotiations
• ERP system experience (Oracle preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
• Preferred:
  Experience with capital projects, engineered materials, and supplier performance metrics
