Job DescriptionAs a Business Continuity & Resiliency Consultant, you will partner with assigned lines of business to design, implement, and continuously improve business continuity and resiliency plans. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand critical services, assess risk, and ensure recovery strategies are aligned to business priorities and regulatory expectations.
This role combines analytical, advisory, and execution-focused work. You’ll lead business impact assessments, develop recovery strategies, and guide teams through testing and real‑world scenarios to ensure readiness. You’ll also play a key part in evolving the program toward more risk-based planning and scenario-driven testing, helping the organization strengthen resiliency across critical business services and dependencies.

How You’ll Spend Your Time- Partner:
Build relationships with assigned lines of business to understand operations, risks, and recovery requirements. - Assess:
Lead business impact analyses and identify critical services, dependencies, and resiliency gaps. - Plan:
Develop and maintain continuity plans, recovery procedures, and playbooks aligned to business and regulatory expectations. - Test:
Design and facilitate scenario-based exercises and testing to build readiness and muscle memory across teams. - Advise:
Provide guidance to stakeholders on risk, recovery strategies, and program requirements while influencing outcomes without direct authority. - Improve:
Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps, monitoring remediation efforts, and supporting the evolution toward risk-based planning and testing.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Crisis Management, Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field and 5+ years of related experience in business continuity program management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
Working towards or achieved a relevant business continuity certification, such as Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP), Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), or a related credential.
