• Manage full‑cycle payroll operations across multiple countries with precision and accountability
• Validate, reconcile, and prepare payroll inputs in partnership with internal stakeholders
• Review third‑party payroll outputs, identifying discrepancies and driving resolution
• Maintain payroll schedules and ensure all deadlines are consistently met
• Proactively identify and elevate risks impacting payroll accuracy or timelines
• Collaborate with People Operations, Finance, and external vendors to ensure seamless delivery
• Support audits and maintain compliance with local statutory requirements
• Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
• Maintain accurate documentation and share knowledge across the team

Your role will directly influence the accuracy, compliance, and trust placed in Pax8’s global payroll operations. You’ll help ensure employees are paid correctly and on time, support smooth financial processes, and drive scalable improvements that support our continued growth.

• Demonstrated experience managing payroll across multiple countries
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience working with third‑party payroll providers
• Advanced Excel capabilities, including data analysis and reconciliation
• Experience with modern payroll systems such as Workday or similar platforms
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple payroll cycles
• Confident communicator, able to explain payroll concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Independent problem‑solver with the ability to navigate complex payroll scenarios
• Valid right to work in the United States

$60,879 - $86,970 (or more depending on experience)
