Compliance Coordinator – ONEMESA, Tulsa, OK, United States Compliance Program Support
You will support regulatory, safety, and operational compliance programs across field operations. This role ensures the organization adheres to federal, state, and local regulations, internal policies, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive in identifying areas of risk and improvement.
Minimum Qualifications- 3+ years’ administrative experience in an office environment
- Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to facilitate new hire training in a classroom setting
- Ability to concentrate for long periods, review detailed documents, and interpret information
- Must be able to organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for insurability
- Must be self‑motivated and able to perform tasks with limited supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental health sciences, occupational safety, or related field
- Compliance experience within the cathodic protection or oil and gas industry
- Knowledge of OSHA standards, including 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and 29 CFR 1926 (Construction)
- Knowledge of DOT:
Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Association (PHMSA), Federal Motor Carrier Association (FMCSA) regulations and laws regarding drug and alcohol testing - Basic understanding of standard safety training courses (OSHA 10, Smith System Driver, CPR & First Aid, etc.)
- Experience onboarding and training new employees
- Drug & Alcohol Program Management
- Coordinate drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT regulations and internal policies
- Stock and distribute drug and alcohol test kits and forms from PTC, ASAP/NASAP and DISA
- Act as company SME for drug test policies and procedures
- Stay up to date on changing regulations and requirements as it relates to drug testing policies and procedures
- Coordinate and ensure completion of annual supervisor drug & alcohol training
- Escalate incidents (test failures or other issues) within the drug testing program to HR Director
- Comply with audits as needed (NCMS, etc.)
- Work with HR team to manage SAP and return‑to‑duty processes
- Training (Field Groups)
- Actively participate in onboarding for all operational groups, including safety training, fleet training, assisting with the setup and activation of portals and accounts, disbursing PPE and FRs, etc.
- Assist with scheduling client‑required safety training (e.g., CPR & First Aid, Smith System, HAZWOPER, site‑specific courses at safety councils, etc.)
- Maintain training records and portals to reflect compliance with federal, state, and local authorities
- Subcontractor Management
- Field requests for subcontractor approvals and setup
- Send required documentation to subcontractors for review
- Manage subcontractor relationships to ensure documents are renewed annually, incidents are documented and reported, and compliance is maintained
- Work closely with accounting, safety, and operations to ensure subcontractors are verified
- Contractor Licensing
- Maintain contractor licensing per state requirements to ensure accessibility to jobsites
- Assist with account management within state portals and work actively with operational teams to ensure adherence to local and state laws pertaining to jobsite requirements
- Annual MVR Review
- Run and review MVRs annually, and as needed, for ONE‑MESA’s authorized drivers
- Work with safety, operational teams, and HR to address infractions
- Maintain driver's license and medical examiner certification information in ADP
- Administrative Functions
- Coordinate the flow of communication between teams, as needed (e.g., coordinating review of documents)
- Other administrative tasks as requested
- Work is performed in a climate‑controlled office setting with typical noise levels
- Occasional travel between office locations or field sites may be required depending on business needs
