This role plays a critical role in enabling deal execution and protecting company value across the full contract lifecycle.##
** Responsibilities/Expectations:
*** Prepares and coordinates the creation, redlining, and execution of sophisticated agreements with an emphasis on negotiating terms that improve value and mitigate contractual exposure
* Leads communication with internal and external partners to collaborate on contract and document draft/redline/execution
* Contributes through identifying and leading continuous improvement initiatives, with an eye for tools, ideas, and process improvements to increase efficiencies within the group
* Assists the business to find adequate contract solutions for customers
* Crafts new contract templates and updates the existing templates on as as-needed basis; makes recommendations to our policies and guidelines for commercial contracts
* Collaborates with various partners with new business development opportunities and/or special projects

Experience:

**
* Required:

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing agreements related to natural gas midstream and/or power operations, marketing, mergers and acquisitions, and joint ventures
* Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in business, energy management, finance, accounting, or paralegal studies## ##
** Other Requirements:
*** Strong, proactive organization skills
* Highly detail-oriented
* Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
* Prior experience with contract management systems (e.g. Cobblestone Contract Insight)
* Preferred:
Strength in communicating with varying audiences
* Preferred:
Ability to multitask and prioritize work, including coordinating with multiple internal partners
* Preferred:
Strong project management skills to plan, organize, and track work efficiently#LI-CT1
