Role OverviewMid‑Continent Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Information Technology team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Employees are expected to work onsite at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), with the option to work two days remotely.
Responsibilities- Develop comprehensive IT project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget, and timing.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Lead, coach, and motivate project team members to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
- Ensure projects are delivered with high quality and meet the company's standards and customer expectations.
- Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long‑term goals.
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
- Completion of or progress toward a professional designation is preferred, such as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Generally, 6 years of experience managing IT projects.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is required.
