Project Manager, Vehicle Barriers

Position Summary

The Project Manager, Barrier Segment will be responsible for all aspects of project management for the high security barrier segment. This position will coordinate and facilitate project follow up within the sales team including barrier market developers, Market developers, Sales project managers, barrier sales specialist, etc.

• Coordinate day-to-day project management aspects of multiple and/or large-scale projects.
• Use company assets to track projects through all stages of the project life cycle including warranty period.
• Coordinate with tech support and engineering team for any warranty, trouble shooting, and design requirements.
• Will assist in the evaluation and design of project offerings and should possess a thorough understanding of company service offerings, technical preferences, and technical direction.
• Serve as a key participant in team and client meetings with the ability to be able to confront issues openly and quickly as well as effectively communicate relevant project information.
• Challenge others to develop as leaders while clarifying roles and responsibilities, pursue excellence in all aspects of business. Will need to build knowledge in the industry and share knowledge with others.
• Participate in NPD and CPI projects as needed with the engineering team.
• Ad hoc process improvement projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting and project management concepts.
• Thorough understanding of research methodology, data analysis and estimation metrics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• MS Office proficient.
• Great attention to detail.
• Must be organized and reliable.
