Job Description

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for the timely and cost-effective field coordination, quality control and day-to-day supervision of subcontracted work forces for construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Prepares the project schedule, maintains accurate status reports.
  • Coordinating field work, ensuring quality control and safety standards.
  • Reviews status and project progress with Project Manager and client representatives regularly.
  • Directs subcontractor activities and ensures adherence to safety requirements.
  • Analyzes manpower, material and equipment requirements, interfacing with relevant parties.
  • Implements and enforces policies and procedures established by field construction management.
  • Prepares reports and forecasts; keeps supervisors informed of overall progress.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of field experience on commercial projects.
  • Commercial and Life Science construction experience preferred.
  • Some supervisory responsibility as General Foreman, Field Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, organizational and teamwork skills.
