Utilities Superintendent

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction site run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while adhering to project schedules and budgets. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction management practices.

• Manage daily operations on the construction site, focus on site utility scopes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
• Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage schedules, and maintain documentation.
• Oversee budgeting processes, including cost estimation and financial reporting for the project.
• Review schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues that arise during construction.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and compliance with safety standards.

• Proficient in managing pipeline projects with a focus on efficiency and quality control.
• Strong knowledge of Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
• Expertise in project scheduling techniques using Primavera or other scheduling software.
• Familiarity with OMEN construction management software for tracking progress and managing resources.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Excellent supervisory skills with a proven track record of leading diverse teams in a construction environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in all aspects of construction management.
• 5 plus years experience in utility.
