Senior Estimator About the Role

The Senior Estimator leads the preconstruction process, developing accurate and comprehensive estimates that support project success. This role partners closely with clients, designers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure full scope coverage, budget alignment, and high quality preconstruction deliverables. It’s a great fit for someone who is confident, detail oriented, collaborative, and skilled at owning their work from start to finish.

• Lead preconstruction teams and coordinate client/design meetings
• Develop bid strategies and manage subcontractor outreach
• Perform quantity takeoffs using BIM tools
• Conduct constructability reviews, system analyses, and value management
• Compile, review, and reconcile all takeoffs, pricing, and estimates
• Support subcontract negotiations and major purchasing decisions
• Assist in developing job cost budgets and managing project turnover meetings
• Prepare owner deliverables, including estimate summaries and clarifications
• Ensure compliance with internal standards and review processes

• Strong conceptual estimating skills and experience delivering high quality preconstruction services
• Proficiency with estimating, takeoff, and Autodesk/BIM software
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
• Ability to read drawings, interpret specifications, and produce accurate quantities
• Strong math/accounting skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
• Professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work collaboratively

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Equivalent experience may be considered
• 8+ years of industry experience
