Superintendent leads heavy civil road construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with plans and specs.
Local projects: overnights are extremely rare, competitive pay and benefits package, company truck and phone, paid time off, performance bonus potential.
Responsibilities- Lead crews and subcontractors on concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and/or underground utility projects
- Plan, schedule, perform, and manage daily work, labor, equipment, and materials
- Enforce company safety program and conduct safety meetings
- Read plans and oversee quality control and inspections
- Track production, budgets, and manhours
- Coordinate with Construction Manager, vendors, inspectors, and owners
- Hire, train and evaluate crew members
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10+ years heavy civil road construction experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Bilingual a plus
