In this hands‑on role, you’ll supervise and guide a skilled paving and construction crew, drive daily production decisions, and work side by side with your team members to deliver outstanding results.

• Champion a safe work environment by ensuring strict compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulations (OSHA/MSHA).
• Proactively report safety concerns or issues to supervisors or the safety team.
• Lead, motivate, and delegate tasks to your crew, ensuring everyone is set up for success.
• Make independent decisions to keep projects on track, efficiently solving challenges as they arise.
• Work collaboratively and hands‑on, assisting with shoveling, raking, wheelbarrow operation, truck backing/dumping, and signaling equipment operators.
• Help with site setup, traffic control devices, and general project logistics as needed.
• Promote the company's values, representing our interests with professionalism in all interactions.
• Perform other related duties to support project and company success.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years' experience in asphalt construction or related field, including team leadership. Experience with budgeting is a plus, but not required.
• Leadership:
  Proven ability to lead and develop teams, foster relationships, and deliver results in a collaborative environment.

  Understanding of customer specifications and quality standards to prevent rework or punch list items.
• Communication:
  Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, give and receive feedback, and communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders.

• Licenses:
  Valid driver's license required; must pass pre‑employment background and drug screenings.

• Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crawl, talk, and hear throughout the workday.

• Capable of driving vehicles for extended periods and working in all weather conditions.
