Job Description

As the Assistant Project Manager, you will report directly to a Senior Project Manager and support the end-to-end delivery of multiple construction projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling, and coordination from pre-construction through close-out
• Supporting cost tracking, change management, and project documentation
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
• Assisting with RFIs, submittals, and contract administration
• Monitoring project progress to ensure schedules, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Supporting site teams to resolve issues and maintain strong client relationships

The Successful Applicant

For the Assistant Project Manager role, we are seeking:

• Experience working as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Engineer within construction
• Exposure to commercial construction projects preferred
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams
• Confidence working with project schedules, budgets, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
• A desire to grow into a full Project Manager role over time
