An established, privately owned commercial general contractor is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of mid-size commercial construction projects across the Tulsa metro. This role offers hands‑on exposure to the full project lifecycle, working closely with experienced Project Managers in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.

The business delivers $10M–$20M commercial projects across sectors including education, healthcare, faith‑based, and retail, supported by a substantial multi‑year backlog.
DescriptionAs the Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in the successful planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects throughout the Tulsa metro area.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
- Support subcontractor procurement, buyout, and contract administration
- Coordinate RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Track project progress and help ensure milestones are met
- Participate in job meetings and maintain clear communication with field teams
- Assist with owner and architect correspondence
- Support project close‑out, including punch lists and final documentation
For the Assistant Project Manager, we are seeking:
- Experience in commercial construction as an Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar role
- Exposure to projects in the $10M–$20M range preferred
- Understanding of commercial construction processes, documentation, and scheduling
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A hard‑working, team‑oriented mindset aligned with a collaborative culture
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency with standard construction software and Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to pass a standard pre‑employment background check
