Job Summary

He will be responsible for managing supervising and executing ongoing construction activities and resolve technical problems that may arise  will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to deliver timely completion and will ensure execution as per specification and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed construction schedules using software like Primavera or MS Project. Allocate resources efficiently.
  • Oversee on‑site activities to ensure adherence to plans, timelines, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Implement QA/QC procedures. Conduct inspections and ensure materials and workmanship comply with specifications. Ensure work complies with local building codes, safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
  • Address and resolve on‑site technical issues, construction challenges, and unexpected obstacles swiftly.
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets. Track costs to ensure alignment with financial projections.
  • Oversee detailed BOQs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Identify and implement cost‑saving opportunities without compromising quality or design intent.
  • Generate regular financial reports for stakeholders, tracking expenditures, cash flows, and variances.
  • Maintain comprehensive records including daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, RFIs, submittals etc.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and up to date.
  • Supervise junior engineers, site supervisors, and administrative staff.
  • Identify potential risks (e.g., legal, technical, environmental) and develop mitigation plans.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
  • Evaluate and implement new construction technologies, software, and sustainable practices.
  • Analyze project performance post‑completion to improve future project delivery.
  • Assist Group head in achieving set KPIs of the department.
