Senior Cost Manager

SLS Consultants is one of the fastest growing turnkey owner’s representatives, managing some of the most complex and interesting real estate and construction projects globally. Partnering with some of the world’s largest data center, pharmaceutical, and healthcare developers, we are looking for a Senior Cost Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients’ success.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing program and project cost management, possessing strong technical skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.

• Oversee cost management activities across the full project lifecycle, from early planning stages through final completion and closeout.
• Monitor financial performance throughout delivery, including cost tracking, change management, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
• Prepare, monitor, and update project budgets, cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation during both design and construction phases.
• Carry out cost analysis and value engineering exercises to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and budget optimization.
• Coordinate procurement and tendering activities, including preparation of bid documentation, commercial analysis of submissions, and contractor recommendations.
• Proactively identify commercial risks, cost exposure, and potential savings opportunities during all project phases.

• 6+ years of experience in cost management or related fields, with a proven track record in managing scope related to construction projects.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field is required.
• Data center, semiconductor or healthcare experience preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
