Electrical Project Manager QA QC - Mission Critical Construction

P1 Construction is seeking a QA QC Electrical Project Manager for our Advanced Technologies/Mission Critical construction group for a job site in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. This is a job site-based position supported by our Midwest corporate office in Lenexa, KS. Future work would be on jobsites primarily in the Midwest.

If you are not located in the area of the assigned job site, then a travel package will apply. P1 uses the GSA Per Diem rates for assigned out of town work ((Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).). The package includes travel home about twice a month.

• A significant amount of travel will be required when assigned to an out of area job site.
• Manages QA QC activities for electrical construction projects or assists senior management on QA QC efforts for large hyper‑scale projects in or around the Midwest. Manages the project’s field staff, subcontractor performance, and vendor compliance. Thoroughly understands and complies with contract documents, budgets, and safety, statutory, and legal compliance.
• Manages QA QC process project coordination, scheduling, and construction.
• Develops and monitors QA QC project documentation and organization between various key stakeholders on the project site. Maintains constructive relationships and supportive communications with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, community officials, P1 staff, and immediate supervisor.
• Leads subordinates as defined by P1's leadership model and its operating principles.
• Contributes to the success of the company by effectively and efficiently managing the construction project so that it is completed on time (according to adjusted schedules) and within budget.

• Direct Experience
  :
  Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Construction Project Manager on large‑scale construction projects, with direct responsibility for electrical construction activities.
  • Candidates must have experience directly managing electrical infrastructure installations, including low‑voltage (120V–600V AC) and medium‑voltage (>600V AC) cabling, conduit and raceway systems, cable tray, support structures and related load calculations, medium‑voltage terminations, site grounding systems, and cable trench installations. This position does not involve work related to building controls, fire alarm systems, or security systems beyond coordinating the required power supply rough‑in.
  • General contractors or project managers overseeing electrical subcontractors do not meet this requirement.
• Preferred
  : QA QC experience on projects in Mission Critical or Advanced Technology environments, QA QC experience with hyperscale data center electrical construction.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Preferred either a Bachelor's degree related to construction/electrical engineering; or electrical trade experience/training/education.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Organizational skills are of importance for the tasks associated with QAQC.
