Minimum Requirements

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in construction project management or a related field. Experience managing construction projects and supervising staff is highly desirable. Previous experience in an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) environment is advantageous.

Travel: 50-100% required.

Work Schedule:

Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supports the planning, organization, and staffing of construction projects.
  • Aligns with FTI’s safety culture and ensures safety is a focus throughout planning, execution, and closeout.
  • Ensures projects are completed profitably, timely, and meet internal and external customer expectations.
  • Represents the company professionally to maintain relationships with owners, subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Visits job sites, interacts with crew, customers, foremen, and subcontractors to monitor progress and support safe behavior.
  • Coordinates and schedules subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers.
  • Manages material coordination related to shop drawing reviews, sequencing, and procurement to ensure the proper flow of activities.
  • Collaborates daily with Project Managers, Preconstruction Managers, Estimators, Engineers, Project Superintendents, and other internal team members to execute projects.
  • Supports or leads the Quality Control/Quality Assurance program, performs inspections, maintains QA/QC logs and plans, and actively manages non-compliance corrections efficiently.
  • Participates in the overall request for proposal process, including bid package development, proposal collection, results overview, and generation of subcontractor or vendor agreements.
  • Prepares and maintains project documentation and control, including status reports and updates.
  • Supports project schedules and leads the project closeout process, including acquisition, review, and submission of required documentation.
  • Assists with project documentation required for grants or incentives where applicable.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
