Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager
Is seeking an experienced Utilities Construction Foreman to lead field crews and oversee daily operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering quality work, maintaining a safe jobsite, and developing the people around them.
Founded in 1974, the company is a family-owned civil construction company providing asphalt, concrete, grading, earthwork, utility, and trucking services across Oklahoma and the surrounding region. They perform work for projects including city streets, highways, and airport runways, with an emphasis on meeting strict municipal, highway, and FAA-related specifications.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead, coach, and mentor utilities construction crew members.
- Coordinate daily utilities construction activities, workforce assignments, materials, and equipment.
- Communicate project expectations clearly to field employees.
- Monitor paving operations to ensure work meets project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure crews follow company procedures and jobsite requirements.
- Conduct pre-job meetings, daily safety discussions, and job hazard assessments.
- Identify and resolve field issues that could affect safety, quality, productivity, or project schedules.
- Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, equipment operators, truck drivers, inspectors, and subcontractors.
- Track daily production, labor, equipment usage, material quantities, and job progress.
- Provide hands-on support when needed to keep projects moving efficiently.
- Maintain a professional and productive working environment focused on teamwork and accountability.
- At least five years of utilities construction experience.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a crew.
- Fully bilingual in English and Spanish
, with the ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in both languages
. (preferred but not required) - Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt paving methods, equipment, materials, and quality requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, train, and mentor field employees.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read project plans, specifications, measurements, and work instructions.
- Willingness to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime as project schedules require.
- Strong commitment to jobsite safety, workmanship, and accountability.
- $75,000 - $83,000 yearly plus benefits
