This role is responsible for preparing accurate, detailed, and competitive cost estimates for road, paving, and heavy civil construction projec

ts.

The Senior Estimator will lead quantity take-offs, labor and equipment costing, material pricing, and bid preparation for projects involving asphalt, concrete, earthwork, utilities, and related scopes. This position reviews plans, specifications, subcontractor quotes, and supplier pricing to develop complete bid packages and proposa

ls.
Day-to-day responsibilities include working closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal leadership to ensure estimates are thorough, timely, and aligned with project requirements. The Senior Estimator will also participate in bid reviews, refine estimating processes, maintain current pricing and production data, identify cost-saving opportunities, assess project risks, and support contract negotiation effo

rts.

Qualificat

  Demonstrated experience estimating heavy civil and road construction projects, including asphalt, concrete, earthwork, utilities, and related sc
• opes.
  
  Proficiency with estimating software, digital take-off platforms, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Out
• look.
  
  Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving sk
• ills.
  
  Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, project plans, and technical specific at
• ions.
  
  Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, suppliers, and subcontrac

  Proven ability to manage multiple bids, meet tight deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environ

  Several years of experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator in heavy civil, road construction, or a related construction environ
• ment.
  
  Prior field experience is highly prefe

  Knowledge of local regulations, permitting processes, and industry standards in the Tulsa Metropolitan Area and surrounding regions is prefe
