We are seeking a talented and experienced Social Media Coordinator to manage and grow our online presence across multiple channels. This mid-level role is responsible for content creation, copywriting, strategy, and day-to-day management of six social media accounts spanning our Tulsa and OKC locations: two Facebooks, two Instagrams, one Linked In, and one You Tube. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, passionate about storytelling for a mission-driven cause, and capable of thinking ahead to identify new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute social media strategies across all channels, aligned with organizational goals and mission.
- Create compelling content, including graphics, photos, videos, and written copy that highlights the impact and stories of Little Light House.
- Manage publishing schedules, maintain consistency across all platforms, and ensure brand alignment for both Tulsa and OKC channels.
- Drive and strategize engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community interaction.
- Collaborate with the Creative Manager and marketing team to plan campaigns, promotions, and omnichannel initiatives.
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithm updates, and best practices to optimize reach and engagement.
- Film and edit videos for social media, including on-camera appearances when necessary.
- Lead social media content during miscellaneous events and major fundraisers, fostering community both digitally and in-person.
- Track performance metrics and prepare reports on social media growth and engagement.
- Contribute forward-thinking ideas for new platforms, campaigns, or initiatives to expand organizational reach.
- Support the Creative and Marketing team with miscellaneous responsibilities, such as designing outreach materials, assisting with events, brainstorming creative campaigns, and providing backup support for team projects.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing multiple social media channels in a professional setting.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to innovate and experiment with content to a high standard of excellence.
- Strong knowledge of social media strategy, trends, and community engagement.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, Cap Cut (or similar video editing software), and Mailchimp.
- Skilled in photography, videography, and on-camera presentation.
- Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a team-focused, mission-driven environment.
- Passionate about children with special needs and nonprofit causes.
- Experiments, stays curious, and has a growth mindset.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, or a related field.
- Experience working in faith-based or nonprofit organizations.
- Forward-thinking approach with an interest in emerging social media trends and future opportunities.
Full-time, in-person in Tulsa, OK.
Occasional travel to the Oklahoma City location.
