Museum Assistant (Freelance

Do you have a passion for art and a knack for connecting with people? Are you a social media whizz and love working with like minded people? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Museum assistant. Initially this will be for two days a week (flexible), with the chance to increase the hours later in the summer. In this freelance role, you will play a key part in bringing art to life for our visitors, while also amplifying our presence on social media and coordinating our fantastic volunteers.

• Engaging visitors with our art exhibitions and programs.
• Developing creative and interactive content for our social media platforms.
• Coordinating and collaborating with our volunteers.
• Assisting with the coordination of events and workshops.

• A passionate advocate for the arts with a keen interest in women's art.
• Excellent at communication and building relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
• Competent with social media and content creation.
• An enthusiastic team player with strong organizational skills.

This is a one-year freelance contract with a one-month probation period. The successful candidate will be based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. Working at weekends is a requirement of the role.
