Job SummaryUnder general supervision performs clerical day to day duties for Recreation.
Job DescriptionEssential Job Functions
Manage Parks and Recreation reservation process.
Answer phone and inquiries concerning Recreation activities.
Provides information regarding Recreation facilities, activities and functions.
Compile and organize internal Parks Department Data
Compile Parks Department marketplace pricing as needed.
Retrieve and input market data relevant to Parks Department.
Maintain current and target vendor profiles for Parks Department initiatives.
Assist with general maintenance Parks Department files.
Performed other duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Knowledge of Tulsa County Parks programs and Tulsa County Policies. Able to be tactful when dealing with the public and treat others in a courteous manner; to work on own when given instructions.
Skill in customer service; communicate clearly and effectively; maintaining records; and using a computer.
Ability to organize and accomplish a variety of clerical duties; work collaboratively with departments; multitasking; patience and courtesy in dealing with others; and to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education equivalent to graduation from a four-year high school with a diploma or GED (General Education Degree) and over one year of work experience.
Language SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
