Position: Customer Excellence Representative I

Overview

The Customer Excellence Representative I is responsible for delivering front-line support to customers and contractors across all TEAM Companies product lines, including TEAM Professional, TEAM Background, and TPS Alert. This role provides technical and account-related assistance through phone, email, and chat, including account maintenance, system troubleshooting, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely issue resolution. Representatives are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, build positive rapport during every interaction, and consistently deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line customer support via phone, email, and chat for all TEAM Companies brands, delivering accurate information and timely issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot system issues by guiding users through platform navigation, verifying technical details, and escalating complex problems when necessary.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns, ensuring clear communication and efficient follow-through.
  • Document all customer interactions in the CRM system with clarity and accuracy to support continuity of service.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism by consistently demonstrating patience, empathy, and effective communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain product and system expertise, staying informed on updates, process changes, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by supporting peers, sharing knowledge, and helping improve workflows.
  • Achieve quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets.

Required Qualifications And Skills
  • Experience:
    • Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with 1-2 years of experience in customer service.

    • Exceptional customer service skills; able to communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with clients.
    • Team focused; builds rapport and trust within their team to help promote a healthy, professional culture.
    • Strong organizational abilities; manages multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
