Job Overview

Part‑time position available as a Park Operations Host. Responsibilities include maintaining attractions, delivering guest service, executing events, and managing parking flow.

• Keep the park in tip‑top shape, from attractions to event setups.
• Provide exceptional service to guests, helping them navigate the park.
• Assist in setting up and tearing down events, including tables, chairs, tents, and signage.
• Manage parking flow, directing guests to available spaces before and after the park opens.
• Work alongside an energetic team, upholding safety and operational standards.

• Set up event equipment such as flags, props, signage, tables, chairs, and tents.
• Clean up after events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are accounted for.
• Perform physical tasks such as climbing park elements, operating boats, and loading/unloading equipment.
• Manage crowd control and safety during events or emergencies.
• Direct traffic in the parking lot, placing/removing cones and signage.
• Assist with opening activities, unlocking gates at sunrise and ensuring operations run smoothly until closing.
• Assist with closing procedures, conduct equipment inspections, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain park cleanliness, sweeping, packing, raking, and organizing storage areas.
• Use PPE, proper lifting techniques, and promptly report safety concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance per company guidelines.
• Adapt to additional duties as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to provide world‑class service to peers, leadership, and guests.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Ability to follow department and company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

• Stand for extended periods; possess manual dexterity for equipment use.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs individually and 100 lbs with assistance.
• Perform kneeling, squatting, bending, lifting, walking indoors and outdoors for extended periods.
• Climb ladders of varying heights; maneuver through tight spaces associated with play equipment.
• Shovel and remove snow or ice from designated areas if required.
• Proficient in swimming and operating kayaks and paddle boats.

Employee may be exposed to varied weather conditions, from very hot to very cold, and noise levels that vary with attendance and programming.

• Communicate verbally with large groups.
• Interact positively with children and families.
• Successfully complete CPR training.
• Regularly work weekends, holidays, and non‑traditional hours.
• Perform all cleaning duties.

• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Background in athletics or outdoor activities.
• 1–2 years of experience working with children and families in a guided instruction environment.
