10 is currently seeking a Dispatcher - Onsite for a contract position with a Major Utility Company located in Oklahoma City, OK. This is a 4 month contract opportunity. Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
This is an intermediate-level dispatching role responsible for communicating with internal and external customers via phone, email, and electronic messaging. The ideal candidate will prioritize and allocate field operations workloads, manage work schedules, and utilize multiple technology platforms to assist customers and employees with service requests and emergency situations.
Responsibilities- Perform intermediate level of work related to dispatching
- Communicate through various media channels including phone, email, and electronic messaging to communicate to internal and external customers
- Prioritize, dispatch, evaluate, analyze and re-allocate field operations workload; manage work schedule to ensure appropriate resources are available
- Utilize multiple technology platforms including:
Customer Information System (Banner), Dispatch Software (Pragma
CAD), SharePoint, Maximo, Everbridge, Microsoft Teams, and other applicable systems to complete daily tasks - Assist customers and employees in person and via telephone regarding account information and/or service order requests
- Handle account inquiries, city inspections, emergency line locates, service requests, and emergency situations
- Reschedule uncompleted orders
- Answer customer direct line inquiries and field management inquiries
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work evenings and weekends, as well as flexibility in a rotating schedule
- Knowledge of scheduling principles and practices
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instructions
- Experience in use and function of office equipment including computers and applicable software
- Knowledge of the application of basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division (Tested)
- Knowledge of customer accounting and information center policies and procedures
- Experience and training related to dispatching policies, operating communication devices, emergency notification procedures, and electronic work management tools
- Experience reading and interpreting maps and customer account information
- Demonstrated ability to read and write fluently in English
- Minimum Applicable driver's license
- Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and react immediately to emergencies
