Position Summary – Credit Union Advisor I
Process a variety of transactions and provide service to members and non‑members through in‑person, video transmission, via the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM), or by phone. Accurately and efficiently assist with member requirements while assuring a positive experience for each member. Perform duties in compliance with regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act.
Essential Job Functions and ResponsibilitiesProcess member transactions demonstrating efficiency and good utilization of time to assist as many members as possible without negatively impacting the quality of the transaction.
Balance cash drawer (or dispenser/recycler) regularly to ensure accuracy with all in‑person or video transactions and inform the supervisor of any needs (supplies, concerns, etc.) to avoid delays in processing.
Assist members with check (re) ordering, issuing temporary checks, debit card (re) ordering and replacement, and basic file maintenance including name and address changes.
Contribute to the achievement of production and service goals by building trusting relationships with members and fellow employees, staying informed on current products, services, and promotions, and by utilizing Key Insight to help determine member needs and refer appropriate services.
Build caring relationships and earn the trust of TTCU members and potential members by providing accurate, thorough answers to questions via phone, chat, video, and/or in‑person, utilizing various resources including handouts, peers, and supervisors.

Must have reliable transportation. - Experience
:
Customer service experience in banking, retail, or another related field: 1 year. - Bilingual Skills
:
Spanish or another language preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook).
- Ability to navigate the internet and understand basic browser settings.
- Ability to learn proprietary computer software such as Keystone, OnBase, Key Insight, Concur, and Genesys.
- Follow policies and procedures and support the organization’s goals and values.
- Demonstrated dependability through reliable attendance and adherence to timeliness and schedules.
- Intermediate written and verbal communication skills required for effective interaction with members regarding financial transactions, problem resolution, and education about TTCU products and services.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidential information appropriately, exercising discretion, sensitivity, and tact at all times.
- Ability to function effectively within a group or team.
- Ability to create an atmosphere that promotes TTCU’s Core Values by maintaining personal integrity, presenting a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor while providing extraordinary service to members and fostering teamwork among employees.
Routinely perform work indoors in a climate controlled, shared work area with a moderate level of noise.
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on one’s own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out written and oral instructions, speak clearly, and deliver information logically and understandably. Must perform intermediate mathematical calculations with extreme accuracy, deal calmly and professionally with diverse personalities, and demonstrate the highest levels of customer service and discretion.
Must handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities under the stress of deadlines, ensuring extreme accuracy and quality in a fast‑paced environment, and exercise the highest level of discretion on internal and external confidential matters.
