Job Description
Roadside Assistance Agent – Handle inbound calls, route them through an automated call distribution system, and assist customers with vehicle issues to get them back on the road quickly and safely. Work flexible shifts, including A.M., P.M., weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to callers experiencing vehicle difficulties.
- Determine a preliminary course of action based on customer information.
- Think creatively and independently to facilitate problem resolution.
- Display courtesy, clarity, and professionalism to achieve a one‑call resolution.
- Diagnose and guide customers through vehicle issues to restore service quickly.
- Convey accurate company information via phone, email, fax, or other communication methods.
- Explain vehicle features to customers and colleagues with broad knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
- Availability to work multiple schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience in inbound call center and automotive‑related business is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable using computerized order‑processing systems.
- Intermediate typing and data entry skills.
- Strong reasoning and problem‑solving ability.
- Detail orientation with efficient organization and follow‑through.
- Adaptable, able to multitask, and embrace change.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Self‑motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment under tight time constraints.
