Laundromat Attendant

Description

Alliance Workforce Management is hiring Laundromat Attendants to support a busy, customer-focused laundry facility in Tulsa. This role ensures the store remains clean, safe, and welcoming while assisting customers with machines, payment systems, and wash-dry-fold services.

The Laundromat Attendant provides customer assistance, maintains facility cleanliness, processes wash-dry-fold orders, and performs basic equipment checks. This role is essential to creating a positive customer experience and ensuring smooth daily operations.

• Greet customers and provide friendly, timely assistance.
• Explain how to operate washers, dryers, card or coin systems, and vending machines.
• Process wash-dry-fold orders: sorting, washing, drying, folding, labeling, and storing items accurately.
• Accept payments, provide change when authorized, and complete basic transaction records.
• Clean and sanitize machines, lint traps, folding tables, carts, restrooms, floors, windows, and other areas.
• Monitor the facility for spills, safety concerns, prohibited items, and unattended property.
• Identify equipment issues, place malfunctioning machines out of service, and report repair needs.
• Restock detergent, bags, dryer sheets, and other supplies; notify management when inventory is low.
• Respond professionally to customer questions, concerns, and complaints.
• Follow all safety, chemical-handling, opening, closing, and security procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in laundromat, cleaning, retail, hospitality, or customer service preferred but not required.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfort using laundry equipment, cleaning products, and payment systems after training.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

• Availability for assigned shifts, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work environment includes heat, humidity, cleaning products, and continuous machine noise.
• Frequent interaction with customers and use of cleaning supplies and laundry equipment.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and handling laundry.
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  , with or without reasonable accommodation.

Full-time and part-time positions available. Shift schedules vary based on operational needs.
