Expected Full‑Time Work Hours/
Schedule:
Monday 7:30 am‑4:00 pm;
Tuesday & Wednesday 6:30 am‑3:00 pm;
Thursday 8:45 am‑6:00 pm;
Friday rotated 8:00 am‑12:00 pm.

Lifetime Dentistry of South Tulsa, a Heartland Dental supported practice and “Growing Patient‑Focused Doctor Office,” looks for an experienced Business Office Assistant to join our 7‑person team committed to patients first and continuous learning.

- Greet and welcome patients to create a great first impression
- Manage front office duties: answering phones, checking mail and email, communicating with patients and insurance companies
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and records
- Schedule and confirm appointments for multiple providers
- File patient insurance claims; follow up on outstanding claims; verify benefits and explain coverage
- Post insurance and patient payments; process accounts receivable
- Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients
- Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and optimize office potential
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of Dental Front Office work experience
- 1 year of insurance billing and accounts receivable experience
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Collaborative team player, dedicated, dependable, positive attitude, service‑oriented mindset
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, adaptability, and proactive problem‑solving skills
- Access to minimum PHI necessary for job functions; regular HIPAA training required
- Ability to perform essential duties, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- May lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year
