Work Hours & Schedule- Monday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday & Wednesday: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm
- Thursday: 8:45 am – 6:00 pm
- No nights or weekends

- Dental Assistant Academy training and CE classes included
- Greet, welcome, and sustain patient comfort; provide appropriate education throughout treatment
- Conduct a thorough review of patient health history to provide quality care
- Take and process x‑rays and other diagnostic assessments (e.g., iTero 3D scanner, digital photography)
- Provide superior chairside assistance (four‑handed dentistry) to supported dentists during a wide variety of procedures in accordance with the state dental practice act
- Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping
- Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and following OSHA & CDC recommendations
- Manage supply and inventory levels, place and expedite orders as needed
- Partner with providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow
- High School Diploma or GED
- State‑issued Dental Assistant permit & X‑ray credentials
- At least 1 year of Dental Assistant experience
- Experience with Dentrix or other dental software
- Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Collaborative team player who thrives in supportive, family‑like environments

- Experience in a fast‑paced, customer‑centric environment
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Adaptable to changing workflows and team dynamics

- Access to PHI required for job functions; regular HIPAA training will be provided; duty to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation; accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year
- All new hires in dental office positions are required to complete a tuberculosis (TB) test as part of the pre‑employment process; test is not required in FL & TN
