Southern Hills Dental Care is looking for a Full Time Dental Hygienist. The role involves delivering high quality dental care, providing patient education, performing hygiene procedures, and maintaining accurate records. About Southern Hills Dental Care

Southern Hills Dental Care, like each Heartland Dental supported office, is unique to the community and its patients. With the support of a practice manager and a highly trained team on site, you’ll have access to a vast network of experts across the nation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Current dental hygienist license in Oklahoma and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene.
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening and medical history documentation.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 1–2 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of dental health.
  • Clinical needs as required by office.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
  • Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically throughout the year.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions; not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
