We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our team. This position plays a vital role in transforming architectural concepts into precise technical drawings and models that support both residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of CAD software, an understanding of building codes, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, accurate designs.

Key Responsibilities
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to produce detailed, full-scale architectural drawings and layouts.
- Translate architects' and engineers' rough sketches into technical plans for foundations, structures, and interior spaces.
- Review and apply applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and compliance standards to all designs.
- Coordinate and organize structural, mechanical, and electrical design elements.
- Conduct jobsite visits to collect necessary measurements and data.
- Determine required materials and calculate quantities for procurement.
- Collaborate with architects to generate cost estimates, contracts, and project documentation.
- Maintain organized records of design revisions, submittals, and project communications.
- Perform other duties and support project needs as assigned.
- Education:
Associate's degree in Drafting or a related field required. - Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a comparable role. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software and related architectural design tools. - Knowledge:
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and applicable codes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
This position requires regular use of office equipment, including computers and design software. The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively with diverse teams.
