Salary Grade: Hourly 07 ($13.72 - $17.26/hr)

Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. This position will assist the school cafeteria team in the processes necessary to provide breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks to TPS students; focusing primarily in the quantity food production of menu items and may assist the Cook II.

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent food handler experience in lieu of education
• Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Must possess or be willing to obtain a current Food Handler’s Permit issued via the Tulsa City/County Health Department
• Experience: Basic knowledge of quantity food preparation and customer service skills;
  Previous experience in a school cafeteria preferred

• Be able to lift, pull, or push up to 25 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
• Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
