Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. The Apprentice Craftsperson will assist the Master Craftsperson with repairing diesel, gasoline, and alternative fueled district vehicles. Performs preventive maintenance under the guidance of a Craftsperson or Master Craftsperson.

Hourly 8 | H-8

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in lieu of education

• One (1) year experience in transportation preferred
• Previous experience as a bus mechanic preferred

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical
• Possess or ability to obtain and maintain Class A CDL and a Class “B” CDL with Passenger and School bus endorsement and State of Oklahoma School Bus Driving Certificate, Air brake, and School bus endorsement
