Job Summary
As a College for Kids instructor, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and engaging learning environment for young learners 6‑16 years of age. The primary responsibility is to deliver age‑appropriate and interactive educational programs that cater to the intellectual and creative development of young learners. You must have the ability to incorporate innovative and creative approaches to make learning enjoyable and memorable for students, and foster a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable and motivated to learn while ensuring the safety and well‑being of students during all program activities.
ResponsibilitiesTeach in‑person camps for June and July 2026, hosted at the TCC Northeast Campus. Lead students of various ages and experience levels, particularly those with differing degrees of computer proficiency. While gaming and coding experience is not required, it would be helpful.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (any field).
- Teaching experience working with young learners.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for working with young learners.
- Teaching certification preferred.
- 2‑5 years full‑time experience in a secondary education teaching environment.
- Practical application or teaching experience related to the class of interest.
