Job Requirements:

* Experience with crocheting and knitting is required.

* Previous experience teaching adults is preferred.

* Familiarity with crocheting & knitting as both a hobby and a craft for sale.

* Provide instruction in a classroom setting to adult students on crocheting & knitting techniques.

* Available to teach one evening per week for 3 weeks at a Tulsa Tech campus location.

Essential Functions:

* Demonstrate extensive knowledge of and experience in the appropriate subject matter.

* Instruct students in competency-based program curriculum using current instructional strategies appropriate to the subject matter to assure highest quality classroom instruction.

* Effectively manage the classroom to create an optimal learning environment.

* Maintain up-to-date records of student attendance, academic progress and grades as required by district policy and certification/regulatory agencies.

* Ensure syllabus, supply list and lesson plans are current prior to each class taught.

* Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.)

* Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.

* Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department.

* Perform all other duties as may be assigned by management from time to time.
