The schedule is Mon-Thurs. 12:00pm - 10:30pm (Four 10-hour days with 3-day weekends!). Full-time evenings with great benefits.

Primary Responsibilities
* Counsel students in a professional manner, offering constructive, encouraging, and timely feedback
* Adhere to curriculum expectations to ensure accreditation standards are met
* Perform a variety of instructional assistance, tutoring, and related support functions as needed
* Keep current on trends and styles as related to Nail Technology
* Study, evaluate, and recommend the adoption of textbooks, teaching aids, and materials to improve instruction
* Assist students in understanding the basic fundamentals of various aspects of the subject material
* Monitor and assist with a variety of laboratory activities for students at various levels of proficiency
* Prepare, operate, maintain, and demonstrate classroom and laboratory equipment and materials
* Assist students with classroom and laboratory assignments, exercises, and tests
* Prepare students for state boards
* Document grades and attendance, post to transcript accordingly, maintain a working knowledge of Canvas
* Be familiar with the rules and regulations of the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and other accrediting bodies affiliated with Clary Sage
* Instruct students in safe service practices
* Be familiar with current accrediting bodies and program societies i.e. ACCSC, and OSHA, adhere to OSHA standards and maintain compliance
* Evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
* Provide students with individualized or small group assistance, guidance, and study strategies for the development and improvement of basic skills
* Enforce consistency with the syllabus, lesson plans, and other module components, explain and clarify learning activities to students
* Support student retention by reviewing individual completion of learning activities, monitoring attendance, and contacting students as necessary
* Make instructor observations to promote professional improvement in the classroom
* Assist with program/curriculum development as needed
* Responsible for keeping inventory and purchasing supplies as needed for the program being taught
* Maintain professional image, attitude, and appearance
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned
* Attend Graduation Ceremonies and other college events as required
* Report directly to the Department Head
