Position Introduction:
Join the National Resource Center for Youth Services (NRCYS) at the University of Oklahoma (College of Continuing Education/Outreach) and be part of a team dedicated to improving the effectiveness of human services through training, consultation, and technical assistance in Oklahoma and across the nation for over 50 years. NRCYS is a leader in youth service philosophy, best practices, and youth engagement.
This position coordinates logistical functions associated with planning, preparing, and delivering training and meetings for statewide and virtual events.
- Communicates, coordinates, and collaborates regarding logistical processes with other NRCYS functional units, contracted providers/vendors, customers, and relevant University departments to support the state and national initiatives of the NRCYS.
- Creates, updates, and manages various training schedule sheets in Excel, applying formulas, filters, and formatting to streamline workflow.
- Plans and attends internal and external meetings, including but not limited to NRCYS Staff Meetings, Contract/Project Meetings, and University meetings as needed.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal and external customers and trainers through meetings, telephone, and email correspondence.
- Assists in gathering data, preparing reports, and processing invoices.
- Writes reports, professional correspondence, and other project-related documents.
- Upholds, safeguards, and engages in activities to support the University's mission, NRCYS' vision, mission, and values.
Required
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6 months of experience in early childhood, elementary, or professional programs.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 54 months of related experience.

Department Preferred Skills and Proficiencies:
- General office and customer service skills.
- Ability to schedule and facilitate virtual events using Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
- Proficient in Qualtrics, PowerPoint, and Mail Chimp.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and managing and editing PDFs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Ability to complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Must be able to multitask and be self-motivated.
- Ability to work in stressful situations.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
