Job Description

We are looking for a mature and experienced individual to join our team for a temporary summer role. This position is crucial for the successful management of our summer programs, especially with the upcoming visit of a student delegation from China. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data privacy, FERPA compliance, and the ability to provide professional hosting services.

This role requires immediate operational readiness and the ability to handle high-level projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and protect highly sensitive student data, ensuring FERPA compliance.
• Provide professional and mature hosting services for international student delegations, including transportation and high-level hosting duties.
• Handle essential driving responsibilities for summer operations.
• Work on high-level project management tasks from day one, with minimal training required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional separation, especially when working with incoming freshmen.
• Assist in the smooth operation of summer programs, ensuring a positive experience for all participants.
• Collaborate with the Study Abroad Office team and contribute to the overall success of the department.
• Adhere to all university policies and procedures, especially regarding data privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the demands of the summer programs.
• Ensure a seamless and professional experience for international partners and students.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a strong academic background and a mature, professional demeanor.
• Experience with data privacy and FERPA compliance is highly preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with international students and partners.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with university systems and operations is an asset.
• Willingness to undergo any necessary training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• A positive and flexible attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
